MIAMI (FBW)—This Christmas some single moms in Miami will have a little more to smile about and a little less to worry about when looking around for gifts to place under the tree.

Wayside Baptist Church in Miami is spreading cheer Dec. 22 with a Toy Shop for single moms who attend an 11:55 a.m. worship service at the church located next to the Miami campus of the Florida Baptist Children’s Homes.

Each mom will receive toys for each of her children ages 13 and younger for FREE. A complimentary giftwrapping and carry out service will be provided, according to a news release. Free children’s programming for 3K-5th grade and nursery (4 months to 3 years) is also available.

Church volunteers have been enlisted for the community event to register moms, wrap gifts, escort moms through the gift shop, carry gifts, provide refreshments, and provide extended child care. Additional helpers will assist with parking, set-up and clean-up.
