Hibernia Hyde Park to re-launch on Easter as Redemption Church

On Easter Sunday, Hibernia Baptist Church's Hyde Park Campus in Jacksonville will re-launch as Redemption Church.

Hibernia Hyde Park launched Easter Sunday three years ago as a campus of Hibernia Baptist Church in Fleming Island in order to revitalize what once was Hyde Park Baptist Church.

Pastor JimBo Stewart said becoming an autonomous church was an option for the campus from Day One, and he and Hibernia leadership prayed over the decision.

As the Hyde Park campus shifted ministry strategies to fit their community, it became clear that the campus would one day become its own church.

Now the church will begin its next chapter as Redemption Church. Stewart said he is excited about the ministry opportunities his church is discovering in their community, as they seek to welcome broken people and invite them to find redemption in the Gospel.
