New Orleans tornado destroys church, delays NOBTS chapel

 
The EF-3 tornado that touched down in eastern New Orleans on Feb. 7 heavily damaged a Southern Baptist church's facility and briefly interrupted a chapel service at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Initial reports estimated that 250 homes were damaged with 31 people injured. No fatalities have been reported. Mississippi tornado damages William Carey University

 
A tornado that ripped through southern Mississippi Jan. 21 in the wee hours of the morning damaged nearly all of the 30 buildings on William Carey University's Hattiesburg campus and left seven students injured.
