Supreme Court gives Florida gambling opponents a big win

 
The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday gave opponents of gambling expansion a big win. By a unanimous vote, the state Supreme Court has ruled that a Gadsden County racetrack, located in the Tallahassee metropolitan area, cannot add slot machines. Floridapolitics.com is reporting that the 20-page decision goes further than not allowing gambling facilities in Gretna, population 1,460.
