TALLAHASSEE (FBW)—An expansion of gambling pro-family leaders deem “predatory” easily passed May 8 as the Florida Legislature concluded its extended annual session.

The oldest Florida Baptist church (1825)

First Baptist Church Campbellton is the oldest Baptist church in Florida. The church was organized as Bethlehem Baptist Church on March 12, 1825. A name change came about in 1859. Now the beautiful white frame building in the Florida panhandle houses our oldest Baptist church in the state.

Credit union president hopes to ‘tell the story’ around state

JACKSONVILLE (FBW)—Perry Kenner, president of Florida Baptist Credit Union since April, aims to make the story of the financial institution known to Florida Baptists. He hopes to visit with individuals and groups statewide all year long to promote the 22-year-old FBCU.
